After a successful transition, I departed E*TRADE for Apella Capital in 2019. Apella is a serial acquirer of like-minded RIAs. During my 3 year tenure, we worked on over 50 transactions resulting in 10 acquisitions. A Apella grew from $800M in AUM to just shy of $3B.
